• TimberTech Composite (formerly Pro) — composite core with protective cap, realistic wood look, lower cost than Advanced PVC.

• Trex Composite — wood-fiber core with protective shell, wide color range, widely installed across the Denver Metro.

• Pressure-treated pine — lowest upfront cost, needs regular staining/sealing, shortest lifespan.

• Cedar/redwood — natural warm look, needs regular upkeep to handle altitude sun.
